My passion for interior decorating began in elementary school; around 5th or 6th grade. I looked forward to watching the Sunday morning local home show, while my brother was watching cartoons! I’ve always been fascinated by architecture, houses and decorating a space that you call "home."

I was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, near Pittsburgh and have only known one profession as a medical sales professional for the past 18 years. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh. When I graduated from college, I thought I would pursue a career in Media or Public Relations. Boy did I change gears on that profession!

I get my creative side and "knack" as they call it for interior decorating from my mom. (Sorry Dad!) My mom is very creative and would put something together, like a beautiful holiday wreath that cost upwards of $50 in a store, for half of that! No matter what, my mom could always work together textures and colors to create an esthetically appealing product or space. I luckily have that same "knack." I've also been told by family, friends and acquaintances that I have an“eye” for decorating. It's my passion and lights me up!

I couldn’t wait to have my very own house to decorate and do home projects that I had dreamt up for years. That dream came true in 2015 when I built a new townhome just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in a small, quaint town called Carnegie. A few years ago I began thinking about starting my own business for interior decorating, despite working in medical sales for almost two decades.

I decided in the last quarter of this year that there is no better time than the present to take that leap...and Style Your Space Pittsburgh was born!

I believe that interior decorating doesn’t have to be expensive to style any space you have. My mission as your interior decorator is to achieve a budget friendly, harmonious and unique space that my clients enjoy spending time in. Home should be a retreat and a place that brings joy to its owners.

Random things about me: I love bold colors and have a splash of color in every room of my house. My favorite color is cobalt blue. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and my fluffy “cat-dog”, Ezra. I love anything leopard, traveling, trying new things and consider myself a "foodie."  I also enjoy R&B music and love dancing, hiking and sunshine.
